The rules, in one breath

Anchors pull. Pearls drift. The tide rises. Place an anchor and it pulls every pearl in its row and column; after each turn the pearls drift toward the stronger pull. Pull three pearls onto your shore first.

What one person shipped, directing agents

  • The game design, and a rules simulator used to test the rules and tune the starting layouts.
  • The iOS app: a narrated first game, a daily game, a thirty-level campaign, eighty puzzles, online play through Game Center, nearby play over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and layouts for iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo.
  • A pipeline that captures store screenshots and builds release notes for every version.
  • The trailer, the press kit and the website.

Built to the rules it sells. The record below is measured on every build, and a failed check fails the build.

What is checked

  • JavaScript per page, with a budget. One small script for the theme switch, the menu and the reveals.
  • Page weight, HTML and CSS compressed, with a budget.
  • No third-party requests. Fonts are served from here. No analytics, no trackers.
  • Every internal link resolves. Every page has one heading level 1 and no skipped levels.
  • Every image has alt text. Every text color passes WCAG AA contrast in both themes.

How it is built

Static HTML from Astro. The content is typed data, the colors are tokens, and the checks are one script in the repository. The same shape, with more rows, is what a client evidence file looks like.
